Weekly Prizes
Every week, you can be in the running to win an Adidas World Cup 2010 Jabulani Match Ball as well as a FourFourTwo T-shirt and copy of the magazine. There will be one prize awarded for each of the five categories, for every week of the competition (up until July 11, 2010).
Each week, the most popular videos in each category will be voted for by users – that’s you! Our judges (representatives from Westmead Medical Research Foundation and its stakeholders) will award weekly prizes to the best of the shortlist in each category..
Incentive Prize
While we’re having fun during this competition, let’s remember that there’s an important and meaningful cause behind this event – to raise funds for life-saving medical research at Westmead. So with that in mind, we are awarding an Apple iPad as a prize to each individual whose video raises $2,000.00 in sponsorship funds.
Grand Prize
Remember we’re raising funds for life-saving medical research and we’ve saved the best prize for the person or group that helps us make the most difference.
The grand prize, an Australian jersey signed by the Socceroos World Cup team and an Apple iPad (16GB), will be awarded to the Football Freestyling video that raises the most money for the Westmead Medical Research Foundation.
Ref’s rules
- Only sponsored videos are eligible for the grand prize
- Weekly prizes will be awarded for the duration of the FIFA World Cup (11 June to 11 July, 2010)
- Weekly prizes will be taken from a publicly generated shortlist, and will be awarded at the discretion of the judges
- Prizes are awarded to Individuals who register and submit a video (including as part of a group). There are no group prizes
